In Development - Documentary - WHO IS GOD TO THEM?
This documentary, titled “Who is God to Them? A Comparative Study of Christianity and its
Affect on Native Culture” will explore the transnational theme of Native American culture and
spirituality. This humanities project uses a “feature film” storyline and scholar commentary to
explore how Native American culture has been affected by the infusion of outside religion. The
documentary will begin as a two hour documentary that provides opportunity to continue as a
short or long term public television series. This story will begin with the coming of the first
priests and missionaries, with a cogent summary of the history of Native life before Columbus
as an introduction.
In Development - Children's Program - UNCLE RAY'S HOUSE
A thirty minute children's program that affirms family values as well as faith life lessons. Using
the children's program, Captain Kangaroo as a template for development, this program will
feature a main character - Uncle Ray - A Native gentleman as the benevolent "uncle". Uncle
Ray uses the Native tradition of storytelling to share stories that will educate and entertain
children of all ages. Each program will feature short animated stories of Benny Bible Brave,
Ranger Righteous and their gang to share stories of faith and morally uplifting themes that
children will love. Special guests, special music, and "field trips" will also be a part of this
